I whole heartedly agree with the sentiment of Mr Condell and do accept that some women wear this apparel voluntarily, however there are many women forced by their husbands or fathers to "cover their beauty". I do wonder whether this is a mis-translation and whether it should read "cover your bruises".I have seen many burqa clad women walking in apparent pain. Regardless of the security issues, this garb, I feel is one of the greatest allies of the abusive father and husband. For this reason alone it should be outlawed.
